The standing model is a replica of the Japanese battleship Yamato in 1:700 scale. The high level of detail is reflected in the replicated 46cm guns, as well as in the widened bow and the armor belts, which are also realistically reproduced, reflecting the appearance of the Yamato in 1941. The main turret features separately mounted gun barrels. For example, there are 15.5cm secondary guns and 12.7cm anti-aircraft guns on board. In addition to the armament, the detection systems, such as the rangefinder and compass, are realistically reproduced, providing a detailed overall picture alongside the jib crane.

Detailed model kit in 1:720 scale
The high-quality kit from TAMIYA must be assembled independently.
Self-assembly is guided by a step-by-step or illustrated assembly manual, which is naturally included in the delivery.
Based on the assembly manual, the accurately fitting individual parts must be assembled. Parts can be painted according to personal preferences.
