The scale model is a replica of the US Ford GPA amphibious vehicle. The GPA was a unique vehicle used by both the US and Russian forces. Due to the amphibious nature of the vehicle, it was often referred to as "Squirt". Approximately 12,800 units of the vehicle were produced by 1943. The TAMIYA model kit version stands out for its high precision and detailed craftsmanship.
