The static model is a recreation of the Mc Donnell F-4 C Phantom II, which was designed in the late 1950s as a carrier-based fighter for the Navy. The fighter features a one-piece fuselage for easy assembly and landing gear legs made of die-cast metal to ensure a stable stance once the aircraft is completed. The canopy and air brake can be assembled in either open or closed positions. The TAMIYA model kit version stands out for its precision and attention to detail.
