Among the Panzer IV tanks deployed during World War II, continuing to support the advance of the German army, the G-type was the first equipped with a 7.5 cm long-barreled cannon. The early production models were manufactured from March 1942 to June 1943 and were characterized by the use of rounded muzzle brakes. At that time, German tank troops on the Russian front were contending with the short-barreled Panzer IV tanks against the formidable enemy medium tanks, the T34. The Panzer IV G-type became a valuable asset, capable of competing with the T34 for the first time. Additionally, medium-sized military motorcycles, equipped with a 350cc 2-stroke single-cylinder engine, are lightweight, easy to handle, extremely reliable, and can withstand the harsh Russian climate conditions, making them useful for communication purposes such as messenger and reconnaissance duties. They were not only used on the Russian front but also deployed on various fronts in Europe and North Africa until the end of the war.
