The stand model is a recreation of the Focke Wulf Fw 190 A-3. The development of the FW190 series began in the autumn of 1937 under the auspices of the Reich Air Ministry, which sought to provide a complement to the BF109 Messerschmitt. The BMW 801 radial engine was used for propulsion. The A-3 version utilized the improved 801 Dg engine, which produced 1700 horsepower, and this variant also featured six cannons instead of the previous four. The TAMIYA model kit version stands out for its high level of precision and attention to detail.
