The static model is a recreation of the Mazda MX-5 RF, which was originally announced in 2016. The "RF" in the model name stands for Retractable Fastback, as the car features a Fastback hardtop design with an innovative retractable roof. The roof can be opened within seconds at the touch of a button. Additionally, the suspension and chassis of the car have been optimized without compromising Mazda's safety features.

Detailed model kit in 1:24 scale
The high-quality kit from TAMIYA must be assembled independently.
The self-assembly process is accompanied by a step-by-step or illustrated assembly manual. The assembly manual is included, of course.
Based on the assembly manual, the precise individual parts must be assembled. The parts can be painted according to personal preference.
Tools, glue, and paint are not included in the plastic kit. These must be purchased separately.
