The standing model is a recreation of the German Jagdtiger produced in 1943, which was the heaviest and most powerful tank in the world at that time. The tank was based on the chassis of the King Tiger. The Jagdtiger boasts excellent offensive capabilities, which it demonstrated by neutralizing Allies over long distances. The Jagdtiger was first deployed in the Ardennes Offensive in 1944 and primarily fought against Allied forces in West Germany from 1945 onwards. By 1945, 80 of these Tigers were produced, followed by another ten with a "Porsche turret".

The high-quality kit from TAMIYA must be assembled independently.
The self-assembly process is accompanied by a step-by-step or illustrated assembly manual. The assembly manual is, of course, included in the delivery.
Based on the assembly manual, the precise individual parts must be assembled. The parts can be painted according to personal preferences.
Tools, glue, and paints are not included in the delivery of the plastic kit. These must be purchased separately.
