The scale model is a reproduction of the Yamaha YZF-R1 presented at the Milan Motorcycle Show in September 1997. The street bike was designed for maximum cornering, made possible by the 150 PS of the four-stroke 4-cylinder engine. At the time, the motorcycle was a high-end product due to its high-quality components such as a premium aluminum swingarm and a Deltabox II aluminum frame. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its high level of precision fitting, as well as the faithful reproduction of the original.

Detailed model kit in 1:12 scale.
The high-quality TAMIYA kit must be assembled independently.
Self-assembly is guided by a step-by-step or illustrated assembly manual, which is included in the delivery.
