The Type G tank featured sloped armor, a powerful 700 HP Maybach V12 engine, and a turret set far back on the hull with a 75 mm Kwk42 L/70 cannon. The main cannon, due to its very long propellant charge and high muzzle velocity, had a much more devastating effect than its 75 mm size would suggest.
