The static model is a replica of the US M151A1 Vietnam Transport Vehicle. The M151A1 was a variant of the M151, a military utility vehicle used by the US Army and Marine Corps from 1959 until the early nineties. The M151A1 was first released to troops in 1964 and featured modified rear suspension compared to the original, as well as front fender-mounted turn signals. Some variants of the M151A1 were equipped with a 106mm gun, while others were converted into ambulances.
