The static model is a replica of the North American P-51D Mustang, which many consider to be the best fighter aircraft of World War II. The P-51D is regarded by many experts as the definitive variant of the Mustang, as it was the most widely produced. The aircraft was equipped with a bubble canopy, providing the pilot with excellent all-round visibility. Mounting points on the P-51D allowed for the carriage of drop tanks or bombs to enhance ground attack capabilities. Many saw the aircraft's service during the Korean War as a fighter-bomber, and they even served partially until 1980 in nations with significantly less developed air forces.
