The standing model is a replica of the F4U-1A variant fighter aircraft. The F4U-1A drew on the experience of Navy and US Marine Corps pilots with the original aircraft, making changes based on their knowledge and suggestions. For example, the performance of this combat aircraft was to be further improved. One of the most important optimizations was the removal of the so-called "birdcage" cockpit, as it obstructed the view. Instead of the old canopy, a semi-bubble canopy with minimal frame was used. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its high precision and attention to detail.

Detailed model kit in 1:32 scale
The high-quality TAMIYA kit must be assembled independently.
Self-assembly is accompanied by a step-by-step or illustrated assembly manual. The assembly manual is included, of course.
Based on the assembly manual, the accurately fitting parts must be assembled together. Parts can be painted according to personal preference.
Tools, glue, and paints are not included in the plastic kit. These must be purchased separately.
