In 1948 the 2CV was presented to the public for the first time. With the puristic, inexpensive small car, which was easy to maintain and easy to operate, Citroën offered a robust mass vehicle for the people that had extremely good suspension, in line with the thin road network. From 1981, when the 2 CV had long since become a cult object, a two-tone version appeared in series, the wine-red-black 2 CV 6 Charleston, which was followed by a yellow-black version from September 1982, both equipped with an air-cooled 0.6 liter Two-cylinder boxer engine and 29 hp. Like the original, the kit offers chrome-plated hubcaps, the typical chrome-plated headlights as well as a multi-part engine and of course a movable bonnet.
