The relationship between Hurst Performance Products and Oldsmobile® dates back to 1968 when the first Hurst Oldsmobile® CutlassTM was released. The fifth and final generation was offered in 1983 and 1984. It was based on the G-body of the Cutlass with rear-wheel drive. In 1983 only 3,001 vehicles were built, which were only available in black with silver sills.
