The standing model is a replica of the DD445 Fletcher, which was active on the Pacific front, such as in the third Battle of the Solomon Islands. All features are faithfully represented, such as a flat deck that forms a sharp line from bow to stern, five 12.7 cm guns, and a low and stable bridge. Additionally, weapons such as a 53.3 cm torpedo launcher with 5 units, a 20 mm gun, and a depth charge projector are also meticulously crafted.

Detailed model kit in 1:700 scale. The standing model has a length of 16.2 cm.
The high-quality kit from Tamiya must be assembled independently.
Self-assembly is accompanied by a step-by-step or illustrated assembly guide. The assembly guide is included, of course.
Based on the assembly guide, the accurately fitting individual parts must be assembled. The parts can be painted according to personal preferences.
Tools, glue, and paints are not included in the plastic kit. These must be purchased separately if needed.
