The model hard foam comes originally from the model for the industry and has been used mainly by designers. Very small foam bubbles give (as opposed to styrofoam, for example) an almost closed surface. The processing is very easy with common household tools:

With a simple saw or a large knife, the foam blocks can easily be trimmed and shaped. Several plates can be glued together with hot glue, wood glue or contact adhesive and then processed further. The further fine modeling is done with carving and craft knife, chisel and sandpaper. If the surface is treated with a wire brush, the realistic surface of layered rock can be easily obtained.

Finally, the surface is painted with model acrylic paints (e.g., bush 1702 to 1709) and further "refined" with appropriate litter materials. The easy processing and the excellent optical impression of the finished terrain speak for themselves. The material is also excellent to handle in connection with the new Busch off-road plug-in system 7206 and the honeycomb panels 7207. Detailed instructions for processing are included with the set.
